Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, serving as the first point of contact in the branch
- Assist customers with account opening, maintenance, and documentation in accordance with KYC and bank policies
- Process routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with accuracy and efficiency
- Support daily branch operations, including cash handling, balancing, and end-of-day procedures
- Explain banking products and services, identify customer needs, and provide appropriate guidance
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with team members to achieve service and sales goals while upholding customer trust
- Escalate complex inquiries to supervisors in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or retail banking is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data entry
- Ability to handle cash and operate basic banking equipment with integrity
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, and banking compliance policies
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software; quick learner of new systems
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
