Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk, verify appointments, and manage patient flow
- Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments accurately
- Maintain clean, organized reception and waiting areas
- Process patient registrations, update electronic medical records, and handle documentation
- Prepare examination rooms, stock supplies, and assist clinical staff as needed
- Adhere to infection control protocols and protect patient privacy
- Coordinate with doctors and nurses to ensure timely and efficient patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare qualification is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Malay
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clerical procedures
- Proficiency with computers and clinic management software or EMR systems
- Patient-focused, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
