We are currently seeking a Clinical Optometrist to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and crafting personalised treatment plans that uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Working alongside our specialist ophthalmologists and support staff, you will ensure seamless patient experiences from initial assessment through to follow‑up care. Responsibilities

  • Perform complete and partial eye examinations using latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Diagnose and manage common ocular diseases and refractive errors.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and specialty eyewear.
  • Conduct visual acuity tests, tonometry, and other specialized tests.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Optometry from a recognised institution.
  • Valid Singapore Optometrist license or eligibility for registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical optometry experience, preferably in a specialist or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in performing automated refraction and advanced diagnostic testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centric approach.
