In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between our advanced medical technology and the ophthalmology community. We are looking for an individual who combines deep technical expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills to strengthen our presence in the premium Intraocular Lens (IOL) market.
Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with surgeons, optometrists, and hospital procurement teams to ensure our products deliver the best possible patient outcomes. You will provide essential clinical support, conduct product training sessions, and stay at the forefront of industry trends. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive product training programs for surgeons and hospital staff to ensure optimal product utilization.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities within the Malaysian ophthalmology sector.
- Provide ongoing clinical support and technical assistance to key accounts and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for market penetration of Premium IOL products.
- Represent Transmedic at medical conferences, ophthalmology society meetings, and trade shows.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and feedback summaries to track product performance and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical sales, clinical support, or product management within the ophthalmology or medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of ophthalmic anatomy, surgical procedures, and Intraocular Lens (IOL) technology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
