Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for diverse patient populations (children, adolescents, adults).
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, tailored to client needs and clinical presentations (e.g., trauma, anxiety, depression, developmental disorders).
- Provide consultation and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, medical specialists, social workers, and educators, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports, maintain accurate client records, and contribute to case conferences and care planning discussions.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in clinical psychology.
- Participate in service evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and potentially clinical supervision or training roles.
- Facilitate psychoeducation for clients and their families to promote understanding and coping strategies.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Full registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or equivalent professional body.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with experience in adult, paediatric, or trauma psychology highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, Play Therapy).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
