Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of L2/L3 and CloudOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the management, monitoring, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of cloud services, implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures.
  • Manage cloud security and compliance, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational policies.
  • Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage, implementing right-sizing, and adopting cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to architect scalable, resilient cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Establish and maintain operational runbooks, documentation, and KPIs to track team performance and service levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role managing L2/L3 or CloudOps teams.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
