Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling, turning, and grinding machinery to produce precision components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance procedures
- Monitor machining processes and adjust parameters to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
- Document production activities, maintain quality logs, and report equipment issues
- Collaborate with engineering team to optimize machining processes and reduce waste
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Machining Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and geometric dimensioning
- Knowledge of CNC programming basics and G-code interpretation
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control methods
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions
