Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and timeline.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project financial plans, including cost control, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Manage project contracts, including negotiations, change orders, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle to safeguard project profitability.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and managing expectations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing clear insights into project performance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., technical, legal, procurement) to achieve project objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of professional working experience, with at least 3-4 years specifically in Commercial Project Management or Project Controlling.
- Proven track record of successfully managing project budgets, financial performance, and achieving profitability targets.
- Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and commercial terms and conditions.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and financial management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
