Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market trends.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze global supply markets to identify cost reduction opportunities and new sources of supply.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support new product introductions and supply chain optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing projects to achieve targeted cost savings and delivery improvements.
  • Monitor commodity price fluctuations and raw material indices to inform procurement decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within the manufacturing or electronics industry.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost reduction targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, trade regulations, and risk management practices.
