About the Role: You will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of company staff, VIPs, and clients. Your keen knowledge of Metro Manila and provincial routes will be essential for punctuality and smooth logistics. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, and coordinate with the logistics or administrative team for scheduling and deliveries. Professionalism, punctuality, and a customer-service oriented attitude are paramount in this role as you represent Toyota Commonwealth in all your interactions.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport company executives, employees, and clients to designated locations within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
- Operate company vehicles (cars, vans, SUVs) in strict compliance with Philippine traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, tire pressure, and report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the interior and exterior of assigned vehicles.
- Plan and navigate efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals, utilizing GPS and personal knowledge of Metro Manila streets.
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, packages, and documents as needed for logistical support.
- Manage the vehicle logbook, record mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules accurately.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License (Restrictions A, B, B1, B2 preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a company driver, executive driver, or in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Metro Manila and Luzon major routes and traffic conditions.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle long hours of driving and occasional flexible schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational course in driving is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English and Filipino).
- Must be willing to work in Quezon City and amenable to shifting schedules including weekends and holidays if required.
