Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures for fund management operations
- Monitor regulatory changes from Securities Commission Malaysia, Bank Negara, and international bodies
- Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal control evaluations
- Provide expert guidance to business units on regulatory requirements and ethical standards
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities
- Manage compliance training programs for staff across all departments
- Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in financial services or fund management
- Professional certifications (CAMS, CCEP, or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of Malaysian financial regulations (Securities Act, FSA, etc.)
- Proven experience building compliance frameworks in asset management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
