Job Description
Private Advertiser is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Compliance & Risk Senior Executive to join our team in Selangor. In this role you will safeguard the integrity of our merchant and partner onboarding processes by performing comprehensive due diligence, contract reviews, and payment risk controls before onboarding and throughout ongoing relationships. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations and Finance to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. This position offers a path to influence risk management practices in a growing payments business.
You will lead the assessment of merchant and partner profiles, applying strong due diligence standards, AML and KYC practices, and data privacy considerations. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts and data sharing agreements, negotiating terms to protect the company, and designing onboarding controls that detect and mitigate risk early. The role requires ongoing monitoring of risk exposures, escalation of issues, and timely reporting to senior management. You will help translate complex regulatory expectations into practical procedures that our teams can implement in day to day operations.
We value collaboration across Legal, Compliance, Fraud, Risk, Operations, and Product teams. You will contribute to policy updates, participate in regulatory change management, and drive continuous improvements to governance, risk assessment processes, and vendor due diligence programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, resilience in a fast moving environment, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders. If you are motivated by building robust compliance controls that enable trusted partnerships, this is the role for you.
