Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computers, including component replacement and system troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, drivers, and business applications.
  • Manage IT help desk tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and security patches.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and support user productivity.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Computer Technician or IT Support Specialist.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and common business software.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, including assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
