Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors on geotechnical projects.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, quality of work, and adherence to blueprints and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Manage material inventory, equipment usage, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Liaise with project engineers, architects, and clients to communicate status and address concerns.
- Prepare daily progress reports, incident records, and site documentation.
- Mentor and train junior site staff to build a skilled and safety-conscious team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction supervision, preferably in geotechnical or civil engineering projects.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Valid CIDB Green Card or relevant safety certifications (e.g., SHO, Site Safety Supervisor).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Physical capability to work on-site and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with project management software and basic Microsoft Office tools.
