In this high-impact role, you will be pivotal in driving our Design & Build tender business, leveraging your technical expertise to secure lucrative contracts and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of the construction industry, specifically within the REDAS Design and Build framework. You will be responsible for bridge-building between client requirements and our consultancy solutions, ensuring all tender proposals are compliant, competitive, and technically sound. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of Design & Build tender submissions.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Develop persuasive proposal strategies that align with REDAS Design and Build Conditions of Contract (CoC).
- Collaborate with internal QS teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and project feasibility.
- Cultivate strong relationships with developers, consultants, and key industry partners.
- Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of tender trends and competitor activity.
- Provide expert guidance to clients throughout the bidding and consultancy phase.
- Report directly to senior management on sales pipeline progress and tender conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in construction sales or business development.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QS (Quantity Surveying) consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of REDAS Design and Build CoC requirements is mandatory.
- Strong track record of successful tender conversions in the Singapore construction market.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering blueprints.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight tender deadlines.
