Responsibilities
- Oversee contract administration for large-scale building projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Manage and lead a team of quantity surveyors and contract specialists
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance
- Handle contract variations, claims, and disputes resolution
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and implement best practices in contract management and quantity surveying
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in contracts management or quantity surveying
- Proven track record of managing large-scale building projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, FIDIC conditions, and local regulations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, PMP) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
