As a Corporate Actions Analyst, you will play a critical role in the operational efficiency of the bank, ensuring the accurate processing of corporate events. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage data integrity and reconcile discrepancies, gaining exposure to complex financial instruments and market procedures. We are looking for individuals with a strong aptitude for numbers, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Process corporate action events accurately and within strict deadlines, including dividends, rights issues, and stock splits.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of positions and cash balances to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor and communicate corporate action notifications to clients and internal departments.
- Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies or settlement issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with custodians and counterparties to clarify event details and documentation requirements.
- Prepare accurate reporting for management regarding daily operational activities.
- Participate in system testing and process improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong desire to build a career in Banking Operations are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

- Prior internship experience in a financial institution is a significant advantage.
