Responsibilities
- Operate various types of cranes (mobile, tower, overhead) safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret construction drawings and lift plans to determine load weights, lift points, and rigging requirements.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and ground personnel to execute lifts according to safety protocols.
- Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logbooks of crane operations, inspections, and incidents.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to upgrade skills and certifications.
- Assist in site logistics planning and material handling optimization.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 with valid Singapore Work Permit or S‑Pass.
- Possess a recognized Crane Operator licence (e.g., SCAL, MOM‑approved) or willingness to undergo company‑sponsored training.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating cranes in construction or related industries (fresh trainees considered).
- Strong understanding of load charts, rigging techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and lift plans.
- Good physical fitness, hand‑eye coordination, and depth perception.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation.
