South Asialink Finance Corporation, a trusted leader in the financial services industry in the Philippines, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Credit Investigator to join our growing team in Capas, Tarlac. This role is critical to our lending operations, ensuring that loan applications are thoroughly vetted to minimize risk and support responsible lending.
As a Credit Investigator, you will be the cornerstone of our credit evaluation process. Your primary responsibility is to validate the accuracy of information provided by loan applicants, conduct comprehensive background checks, and assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's assets while helping deserving individuals and businesses access the funding they need.
Field work is a key component of this role. You will travel within and around Tarlac to verify client information, inspect business operations, and conduct interviews with applicants, neighbors, and character references. Your strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail will be essential in preparing accurate Credit Assessment Memorandums (CAMs) that guide critical lending decisions.

Responsibilities
- Verify the authenticity and accuracy of borrower documents, including government-issued IDs, proof of income, and business permits.
- Conduct on-site field checks and neighborhood interviews to confirm the borrower's identity, residency, and business operations.
- Perform comprehensive credit background investigations using internal databases, credit bureaus, and public records.
- Prepare detailed Credit Assessment Memorandums (CAMs) summarizing findings and providing clear recommendations for loan approval or denial.
- Collaborate closely with Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to address discrepancies and ensure complete application packages.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and company data gathered during the investigation process.
- Ensure all investigation activities adhere strictly to company policies, regulatory standards, and data privacy laws.
- Submit accurate and timely daily/weekly reports on investigation progress and findings to the Credit Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of proven experience as a Credit Investigator, Field Collector, Loan Officer, or in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conducting interviews and preparing reports.
- Willingness to conduct extensive fieldwork within Capas, Tarlac, and neighboring municipalities (must be willing to travel).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be honest, trustworthy, and possess a high degree of professional integrity.
- Applicants must be residents of Capas, Tarlac, or willing to relocate. A valid driver's license and motorcycle are preferred but not required.
