We are representing our client, a prominent logistics provider specializing in Air Freight, in their search for a dedicated CS Operations Executive (Import/Export). Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process import and export shipments via air freight, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and customs clearance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing proactive shipment status updates and resolving any operational issues efficiently.
- Liaise closely with airlines, co-loaders, customs brokers, and local truckers to guarantee seamless cargo movement from origin to destination.
- Prepare, verify, and distribute all necessary shipping documents including Master/ House Airway Bills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Handle customs permit applications (Import/ Export/ Transhipment) using TradeNet and ensure full compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Manage job files meticulously, updating the company's operations system with accurate shipment data and cost control information.
- Communicate daily with overseas agents, partners, and clients regarding shipment schedules, rate negotiations, and specific handling requirements.
- Support the operations team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Air Freight Operations / Customer Service (Entry level candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of import and export documentation requirements and procedures is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel is essential).
- Candidates with prior knowledge of TradeNet / CargoWise or other logistics software will have an added advantage.
