Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of enterprise-wide cybersecurity programmes and security infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with internal IT and business stakeholders to align security roadmaps with institutional risk appetite.
- Oversee the implementation of security controls, ensuring compliance with international standards and MAS regulatory guidelines.
- Manage technical vendors and third-party partners to ensure delivery of security solutions within defined project timelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments, gap analyses, and threat modeling exercises for new and existing systems.
- Develop and socialize security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership during incident response activities and post-incident reviews for security-related projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security project management.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or GIAC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, cross-functional IT/Security projects.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security, network security, and application security principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive leadership.
