Responsibilities
- Analyze business data requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Design, implement, and manage relational databases to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Develop automated reports, interactive dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Perform ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into centralized data platforms.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operational efficiencies, marketing strategies, and financial planning.
- Monitor database health, implement robust security protocols, and manage user access.
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure seamless integration and functionality of data systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, systems, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or database management.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and database optimization.
- Proven experience with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Looker, or Tableau).
- Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL frameworks.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with precise attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis or automation is highly desirable.
