Arch Global Services is expanding its Strategic Analytics team, seeking a talented Data Engineer to work the midâshift in our Santa Ana, Metro Manila office. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that feed innovative predictive models and analytical tools aimed at boosting profitability across the business. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient ETL processes, ensuring data quality, reliability, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL and Python, experience with cloudâbased data platforms (AWS), and familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Tableau. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture, implementing best practices for data governance, monitoring, and performance tuning. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across disparate data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare feature sets for predictive modeling.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse schemas and dimensional models.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated alerts.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and share knowledge with the team.
- Support BI reporting needs by creating reusable data extracts and views for Tableau.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to the architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar dataâfocused role.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Handsâon experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
- Familiarity with ETL tools/frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
