Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks platforms
- Build and optimize data infrastructure to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
- Implement data quality controls and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity
- Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, transformation, and integration
- Support international teams by providing data engineering expertise and documentation in Spanish
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to data architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Proficiency in Python programming with experience in data processing libraries
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services and Databricks platform
- Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) for effective communication with international teams
- Experience with SQL and database management systems
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
