Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks platforms
- Implement ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses
- Optimize data workflows and pipeline performance for scalability and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data systems and platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues and system failures
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architecture and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or similar technical role
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake and Databricks (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and architecture patterns
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
