Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily data pipeline operations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize ETL processes and data workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures and data standards.
- Support business intelligence teams by ensuring clean, structured data is accessible for reporting and analytics.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical data systems.
- Work closely with global stakeholders to align data operations with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data operations, data analytics, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and best practices is highly valued.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation is a plus.
