Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to optimize manufacturing yields and reduce downtime.
- Analyze high-frequency sensor data and IoT telemetry to build predictive maintenance algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate data-driven insights into production workflows.
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure high-quality data ingestion for Smart Engineering projects.
- Utilize statistical modeling techniques to identify root causes of manufacturing variances.
- Present complex analytical findings to senior stakeholders to guide strategic investment in smart technologies.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI trends in the industrial sector to maintain the firm’s competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Data Science role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R, and deep experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and experience working with Big Data frameworks like Spark or Hadoop.
- Proven track record of deploying machine learning models into a production environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols and industrial data standards is highly advantageous.
