Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of market intelligence subscriptions, including procurement, renewal, and termination.
- Optimize vendor spend and negotiate contract terms to ensure cost-efficiency for the organization.
- Configure user access levels and permissions for internal stakeholders across various databases.
- Monitor platform utilization and generate performance reports to identify underused resources.
- Collaborate with IT and department heads to resolve technical access issues and data retrieval problems.
- Stay updated on emerging data trends and new industry publications relevant to the Oil & Gas sector.
- Organize training sessions to educate staff on effectively utilizing subscribed platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data subscription management or market intelligence roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
- Strong understanding of market data platforms (e.g., IHS Markit, S&P Global, Wood Mackenzie).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficient in using CRM or subscription management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal departments.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
