Kempal Construction & Supply Corporation is urgently seeking a skilled SR Quantity Assurance / Quantity Control (QA/QC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Makati City. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects.
- Conduct field inspections and laboratory testing of materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, and steel.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, industry standards (ASTM, ISO, PNS), and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, test results, and corrective action requests.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all QA/QC activities and ensure traceability of documentation.
- Participate in preāconstruction meetings and provide technical guidance on quality-related matters.
- Continuously improve QA/QC processes through lessons learned and best practice sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3ā5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials testing methods and standards (ASTM, ISO, PNS).
- Proficiency in using testing equipment (slump cone, compaction meter, rebound hammer, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed.
