Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forward truck to deliver goods to designated locations within the assigned route.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying quantities and ensuring proper handling of products.
- Plan and adjust driving routes to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid professional driver’s license for heavy trucks (Restriction 1,2,3 or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience driving forward trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Metro Manila roads, traffic patterns, and delivery routes.
- Physically fit and capable of loading/unloading cargo when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Filipino.
- No major traffic violations or accidents in the past 2 years.
