Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and professional chairside assistance to the dentist during various dental procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment required for each scheduled appointment.
- Strictly adhere to sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately as directed by the attending dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide clear post-operative instructions following treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.
- Monitor and manage dental supplies inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are stocked and ready for use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or a degree in Dentistry/Dental Medicine is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and general clinical procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the clinical team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for digital record-keeping and scheduling.
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and ethics.
- Willingness to work full-time hours in our Taguig City clinic location.
