In this position, you will be responsible for supporting dental procedures, maintaining strict infection control protocols, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting patients throughout their dental visits. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures with precision and efficiency
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety
- Provide patient care and comfort by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering emotional support
- Capture and process dental X-rays and diagnostic images as directed by the dentist
- Manage patient records, update charts, and document treatment information accurately
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to established standards
- Coordinate with front desk staff for patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting, Nursing, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution
- Valid professional license (PRC license for nurses or dental assistant certification) preferred
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is an advantage but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and clinical equipment operation
- Familiarity with infection control practices and OSHA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
