Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, including complex surgical placements, restorative treatments, and routine check-ups.
  • Prepare and maintain the operatory, ensuring all instruments, equipment, and materials are sterilized, organized, and readily available for procedures.
  • Take and process high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Manage patient flow and clinic schedules efficiently, confirming appointments, preparing patient charts, and ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care instructions, oral hygiene practices, and treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and long-term dental health.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and clinic policies to ensure a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff.
  • Assist with inventory management, including monitoring supply levels, ordering dental materials, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program or Nursing program. Must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse in a fast-paced dental clinic or hospital setting.
  • Proven proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques and comprehensive knowledge of dental instruments and procedural workflows.
  • Strong experience in taking digital and traditional radiographs (Panoramic, Cephalometric, Periapical) with a Radiology Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
  • High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterilization, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work in Bonifacio Global City and flexibility to accommodate extended hours or weekend schedules if required.
