Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality chairside assistance to the Dentist during various dental procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare and set up the treatment room with the necessary instruments and materials before each patient.
- Strictly adhere to infection control protocols by cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records efficiently and assist with administrative tasks including appointment scheduling.
- Provide empathetic patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during their visit.
- Assist in taking and processing dental X-rays and maintaining imaging equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Perform inventory checks and ensure clinical supplies are well-stocked and organized.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Nursing, Dental Assisting certification, or an equivalent healthcare qualification.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is an added advantage, though passionate fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in other local languages is a plus.
- A friendly, professional personality with a genuine desire to help patients.
