Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during a wide range of dental procedures, including surgery and restorative work.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with strict infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation before, during, and after treatments.
- Prepare the treatment room, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Provide comfort and support to patients, explaining procedures and addressing their concerns.
- Maintain a high standard of clinical cleanliness and laboratory safety throughout the facility.
- Assist with administrative duties, including appointment scheduling and inventory management as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N'/'O' Levels, Nitec in Dental Assisting, or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a dental or clinical setting is an advantage but not mandatory; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centric, empathetic attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well within a team and take initiative when needed.
- Proficient in basic computer skills for administrative record keeping.
