Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality on-site technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based operating systems and enterprise software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware failures and software glitches in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Manage and track IT assets through the company ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of issues.
- Assist in the deployment and migration of hardware during office upgrades or relocations.
- Collaborate with the network and server teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues at the deskside level.
- Educate end-users on basic hardware and software best practices to improve overall IT literacy.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of PC hardware components and Windows OS environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and proprietary software systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage but not mandatory as training is provided.
