Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within an Active Directory environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related errors, including OS issues and Microsoft Office suite problems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of workstations for new hires.
- Document technical procedures and update internal knowledge bases for common user inquiries.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team on hardware upgrades and system migrations.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a desktop support or helpdesk environment.
- Proficiency in Windows OS environment and familiarity with macOS.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in or able to commute easily to the Woodlands area.
