Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute data migration projects from legacy systems to new target platforms.
- Develop and maintain migration scripts, ETL processes, and data transformation routines.
- Create detailed data mapping specifications and ensure accurate translation of data models.
- Conduct rigorous data validation and quality assurance checks to guarantee data integrity.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot migration issues, provide timely resolutions, and document processes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in data migration or ETL development within largeâscale environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and familiar with relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Handsâon experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities in a fastâpaced consulting environment.
