Responsibilities
- Perform hemodialysis procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid status, and laboratory results during treatment.
- Assess patient responses to dialysis and intervene promptly for any complications.
- Provide patient and family education on dialysis care, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain strict infection control practices and ensure equipment safety and sanitation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Accurately enter patient data into electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis or acute care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of renal physiology, dialysis modalities, and related complications.
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamâoriented, fastâpaced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidenceâbased practice.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
