Responsibilities
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to established clinical protocols and physician orders.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments, including physical examinations and mental status checks.
- Monitor and record vital signs throughout the treatment, identifying and responding to complications or signs of infection promptly.
- Manage the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of dialysis machines and water treatment systems.
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide patient and family education regarding renal diet, fluid management, and self-care best practices.
- Maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a dialysis or renal care setting.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and cannulation of arteriovenous (AV) fistulas and grafts.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide empathetic care to patients with chronic conditions.
- Ability to work full-time shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling as required.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret lab results and monitor patient response to treatment.
