Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global Smart Factory strategy aligned with corporate business objectives.
- Lead the digital transformation of manufacturing sites, implementing IIoT, machine learning, and advanced automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to optimize production workflows, increase OEE, and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee the design and implementation of automated assembly lines and smart logistics systems.
- Manage capital budgets and vendor partnerships to ensure the delivery of high-ROI technological infrastructure.
- Drive a data-first culture, utilizing real-time analytics to improve decision-making and predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices in industrial engineering and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully deploying Industry 4.0 or smart factory initiatives in a global manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of automation control systems, PLC, MES, ERP integration, and IIoT architecture.
- Strong background in change management, leading large-scale cross-functional teams through digital transitions.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into strategic business insights.
- Professional proficiency in English; ability to communicate effectively at the executive and shop-floor levels.
