Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues
- Load and unload cargo, securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate routes
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries
- Follow route optimization software and adjust as needed to avoid delays or hazards
Qualifications
- Valid professional driver’s license (Class 1, 2, or 3) with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with Cebu road networks and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or local dialects
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics is a plus
