eFront Business Analyst (BlackRock) - 12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, implementation, and enhancement of BlackRock eFront modules to support alternative investment processes.
• Collaborate with investment, risk, and operations teams to gather, analyze, and document sophisticated business requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies (UAT, SIT) to ensure system accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Provide specialist production support, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system workflows to ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications, process maps, and user guides.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to drive user adoption and maximize the value derived from the eFront platform.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Work closely with vendors and internal IT teams on system upgrades, patches, and strategic projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry.
• Deep hands-on experience with BlackRock eFront or similar alternative investment systems (e.g., Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the investment lifecycle, fund structures, portfolio management, and risk analytics.
• Proven track record of delivering complex system implementation projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
