Job Description
MIESCOR is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Estimator to join our team on a project-hire basis in Ortigas. As an integral part of our construction operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical costings, material quantities, and site requirements are precisely calculated and fully aligned with construction blueprints.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in project profitability and operational success, ensuring that our electrical installations are both cost-effective and technically sound. Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates based on construction drawings and project specifications.
- Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs for electrical materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to verify specifications and market pricing.
- Monitor site requirements to ensure estimates remain within budget and project scope.
- Analyze blueprints and technical documentation to identify potential cost savings or technical discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of bid documents and tender submissions.
- Maintain systematic records of all estimations, revisions, and project costing documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical construction drawings and schematics.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and high attention to detail.
- Competency in using MS Excel and/or specialized estimation software.
- Solid understanding of local electrical standards and construction materials.
- Ability to work independently under tight project deadlines.
- Must be available for project-based work in the Ortigas area.
