Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their financial objectives and needs.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses for individuals and families, identifying gaps and opportunities in their current financial strategies.
- Develop and present tailored financial plans and solutions, including insurance, investment, and wealth management products.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand client portfolios through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Provide ongoing review and optimization of client portfolios to ensure alignment with changing market conditions and life stages.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory compliance standards and ethical practices in financial advisory.
- Participate in continuous professional development programs and industry training to stay abreast of market trends and product innovations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Possess relevant financial licenses (e.g., Takaful/Life Insurance License, FIMM) or a strong willingness to obtain them promptly.
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry (1-2 years experience preferred, but ambitious fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs effectively.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Resides in or willing to commute to Melaka, Malaysia, for hybrid work arrangements.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages are a plus.
