Job Description

Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. is looking for a proactive Employee Relations Officer to strengthen our Human Resources team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing employee relations policies, managing disciplinary actions, supporting hearings, and resolving employee concerns while ensuring full compliance with Philippine labor regulations.

You will work closely with management and staff to foster a positive workplace culture, drive engagement initiatives, and provide expert guidance on labor law matters. Your expertise will help safeguard the organization’s reputation and support our commitment to a fair, transparent, and productive work environment.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Designing and updating employee relations policies and procedures.
  • Managing disciplinary investigations, hearings, and corrective actions.
  • Handling grievances, conflict resolution, and employee counseling.
  • Processing clearances, certificates of employment (COE), and other HR documentation.
  • Conducting research on employee relations trends and recommending best practices.
  • Collaborating with HR business partners on training and development programs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating reports for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor employee relations policies and procedures aligned with Philippine labor regulations.
  • Manage the disciplinary process, including investigations, hearings, and corrective action planning.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on workplace concerns, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Process employee clearances, certificates of employment (COE), and other HR documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and support employee hearings, appeals, and legal compliance activities.
  • Conduct research and analysis on employee relations trends, proposing data‑driven recommendations to improve workplace morale and productivity.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and senior leadership to design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to employee relations activities and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or labor relations positions.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and local employment standards.
  • Proven ability to handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Experience delivering training programs on employee relations topics is a plus.
  • Professional certification (e.g., IPM, SHRM‑CP) is an advantage.
