Responsibilities

  • Assist senior sales engineers in preparing technical quotations and proposals for pumps and related industrial equipment.
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and gather technical data for solution development.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in‑person meetings, providing accurate product information and troubleshooting support.
  • Support key account management activities, including order tracking, delivery coordination, and after‑sales service follow‑up.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and emerging technologies in the mechanical/electrical sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, and service) to ensure smooth execution of projects and timely delivery.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, market intelligence, and feedback to help shape sales strategies.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve technical and selling skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in sales and customer-facing roles; prior internship or experience in technical sales is a plus.
  • Good understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, particularly pumps, valves, and fluid handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and customer meetings within Singapore.
