Asia Brewery Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our Cabuyao Plant team. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with production, engineering, and safety teams to minimize downtime, extend asset life, and support our commitment to delivering high-quality beverages. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and calibration of machinery according to OEM standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS with work orders, parts usage, and service history.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities without impacting output targets.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis of recurring failures and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and junior technicians on equipment operation and care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, vibration analyzers, and thermal imaging equipment.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Solid understanding of safety standards (OSHA, PPE, lockout/tagout) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
