Job Description

Komatsu East Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a leading authorized dealer for Komatsu, Bomag, and LS heavy equipment, is seeking a motivated Equipment Sales Officer to join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue and expanding our presence in the heavy equipment industry across East Malaysia.

As an Equipment Sales Officer, you will work closely with construction, mining, and infrastructure companies to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored solutions using our premium product range. Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for heavy equipment in East Malaysia
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in construction, mining, and infrastructure sectors
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase equipment capabilities
  • Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate contracts to secure deals
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the service and parts teams to ensure excellent after-sales support
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on pipeline and performance
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial products
  • Strong understanding of construction and mining equipment applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within East Malaysia
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude are encouraged to apply
