We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Equipment Sales Officer to join our team in Tawau, Sabah. As an Equipment Sales Officer, you will be responsible for driving sales of heavy machinery, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional after-sales support to customers across Sabah. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads for Komatsu, Bomag, and LS equipment to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting machine specifications and benefits.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers through regular follow-up and site visits.
- Coordinate with the service and parts departments to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, exhibitions, and trade shows to increase brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Sabah, including remote sites.
- Basic technical understanding of heavy machinery is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or local dialects is a plus.
